Website updates

Earlier this school year, we used your feedback to improve district and school websites. Below is a summary of the key updates made.

Improved navigation on district and school websites

• Updated primary navigation menu (black bar at the top of the screen) to include drop-down links to key resources for families, students and staff.
• Added school and district phone numbers and addresses to the primary menu 
• Organized the secondary navigation menus (white menu bar) on both district and school websites to include subheadings and language that is more familiar to families and students

Layout and design updates

• Removed auto-play videos from the district and school websites to improve loading times
• Reformatted school homepages so that important information (school hours and contact and attendance information) is prioritized
• Improved visibility for school and district news

Better accessibility to information

• Improved accessibility to timely and up-to-date information
• Increased the amount of website training opportunities for school admin and staff to better provide school-specific information
• Prioritized updates to most frequented pages such as athletics, breakfast/lunch menus, college/career planning, calendars, and ParentVUE & StudentVUE access and tutorials
